LITTLE COREY GOREY: REVIEW
Written by VHS

“Little Corey Gorey” (Directed by Bill Morroni) is a disturbing slice of life that pulls no punches and will leave you feeling unsettled just for having watched it. The Gorey family is absolute trash in every way. They’re racist, physically/mentally abusive, lazy, burnouts. Everyone in this story is a piece of shit except for the neighbors who have to deal with this psychotic family. It is this level of rawness that really puts this film on another level, and it’s been a long time since a movie has made me uncomfortable. Put it this way, if this movie was a person, it would be a drunk meth-head who breaks into your apartment at 3am, stabs you with a serrated kitchen knife while hurling slurs into the either, and pissing himself.
It’s a roller coaster of weird that fits somewhere between an early Jon Waters flick and a Dirty Johnny Joke. So, if you’re looking for a little shocker this one’s for you. Captured in HD from the original film negative and released (digitally) for the first time uncut in North America since it’s VHS run in 1993.
