Season of the Witch – SYNOPSIS:

Mary Blackwell takes her two children, Alice and Sam, to her hometown of Maiden Hollow to clean out her late father’s house. They discover an isolated village with its own way of life and initially face hostility from the locals. The village priest, Michael Howdy, becomes obsessed with Alice, which is noticed by other villagers. Michael’s past car accident has caused him head and brain injuries leading to confusing Alice with his dead wife, Isobel. The situation worsens, and the villagers take swift and callous retribution, only realizing their mistake when it is too late.
