The Rémy Couture Collection

In 2009 special effects makeup artist Rémy Couture was arrested by Montreal police who had received complaints about the artist’s website. The site was a ghoulish collection of images and short films created by Rémy. It was a cool way to present a portfolio in my opinion, but the Montreal police thought otherwise. The website was removed, and Remy was charged with obscenity and corruption of morality. Let that sink in for a moment… An artist was charged with a crime for creating art with willing participants. Special thanks to Rémy Couture for allowing us to put this collection together.
