Originally titled “Astaroth, Female Demon” this Brazilin horror film is the story of a tattoo artist is being controlled by a demon in an effort to raise her demonic minions from hell. It is up to 3 metal heads to stop him before it’s too late and it’s a good thing that one of the girls is a martial arts expert.
“Astaroth” is a love letter to the Brazilin Metal scene and has a fantastic 80s feel to it. Director Larissa Anzoategui (Domina Nocturna) did an amazing job creating a fun and interesting world for the story to take place in. If you are in the mood for some fun musical montages, ninja stars, demons, and great music you need to check this one out.
